We are authorised suppliers of Witter, Westfalia, Towtrust, and Thulé towbars, and offer a range of flange towbars, swan neck towbars, detachable towbars, and retractable towbars all with a lifetime guarantee. For very rare occasions when these manufacturers are not the most suitable towbar for your vehicle, we have a choice of alternative top quality towbar manufacturers including; Bosal, PCT, GDF and Watling. We always provide the best possible towbar for your vehicle, which more often than not is the manufacturers specified original equipment.

All towbars fitted by LNB Towbars will meet EC type approval regulations as required by law irrespective of which manufacturer is used.

Today cars electrical systems are far from simple. They can include bulb failure warnings, negative switching, low power circuits, led lighting, failsafe lighting, multiplex lighting where single filament bulbs to do two jobs such as side and brake lights and CAN Protocol where all lighting signals are sent along one set of twin bi-directional data cables.

LNB Towbars offer professionally installed electrical sockets. Fitted using dedicated wiring looms to protect the integrity of the cars original wiring and incorporating vehicle stability systems. Or standard looms professionally wired to the cars circuits using advanced relays, catering for parking sensors, vehicle fog light disabling, complex vehicle electrical systems, and split charge combination relays for caravan battery and fridge charging. 

All wiring professionally installed by LNB Towbars will ensure validity of the manufacturers warranty and carry our own 3 year warranty. Every vehicle is tested using our plug in test meters or trailer boards on completion.

Many people are worried about whether they have to use their main dealer. The Fact is, you have the freedom to choose what suits you and your car best. The manufacturer nor dealer can stipulate what you must use due to free enterprise.
94/20/EC was designed to create free trade. Therefore if you fit a European Type Approved towbar and electrics, it will not invalidate the vehicle warranty. Under EC Block Exemption rules, a motor vehicle manufacturer cannot prevent a franchised outlet from supplying or fitting components deemed to be of equal quality to that supplied by the vehicle manufacturer - such as a Type Approved towbar and electrics.
However there are occassionally vehicles that need engine modifications to cope with the extra demands of towing (ask us for details or contact your dealer). Some vehicles will also need the vehicles electronic coding changed to adapt for towing which at LNB Towbars we do in house as part of your installation.

Towbars usually take between 2 and 5 hours to fit depending on the vehicle. The average is 3 hours. We have a waiting room with magazines and Wifi or there is a range of things to fill your time locally see our "While You Wait" page.
